How can I make it finish sooner?

I am 19, I've been having my period since I was 12. I've always been irregular, unable to predict when i'd get it, how long I would have it and if it will be a heavy flow or not. The average is usually 3-5 days, is there any way to make it last a max of 3 days WITHOUT USING BIRTH CONTROL.
